Christmas #3

Christmas #3 was spent at the Oregon Coast... which is beautiful. Rain or shine.
Unfortunately it was mostly rain- but we still had a GREAT time!
We had to drive through some pretty nasty weather to get there....
But we made it! Here is our view from the living room... beautiful!
We took lots of walks on the beach...
and explored the tidal pools...
and jumped off sand dunes!
Trying to do the splits :)
Jordan and Spencer were CRAZY and thought they should go surfing because they found wet suits...
pretty sure they still froze!
We did some driving up and down the coast...
We stopped off at this awesome place called "Depoe Bay" where the water would come crashing up and spray up through the rocks! Soooo coool... see videos for proof :)
More Oregon Coastness
We stopped off at this lighthouse and made it in with 5 minutes till closing!
We ran ALL the way up to the top for a good view and got vertigo on the way down!
We stayed in Pacific City, but drove up the coast a little bit and stopped off at the Tillamook Cheese Factory- BEST PLACE EVER!

Legit farmers...
The factory- I've never seen such big blocks of cheese in all my life!
Isn't it appropriate that the picture is rather orange?
Delicious cheese samples!
And even MORE delicious ice cream! Thank you Tillamook cheese factory.
We love you.
And we did do some "Christmas-ing" as well...
Like trying to break into our rental house :)
Decorated shells to use as Christmas ornaments on the tree.
Decorated gingerbread men...
Can any folk dancers guess what Jon's gingerbread man is?
Yum, yum, yum
We worked on this 1,000 piece puzzle.
And had Christmas morning!
Santa came...
Lookin' gangster in his new favorite piece of clothing.
It was a wonderful Christmas and we were sad to leave the beautiful beach.
Sunday we drove home to Washington...
but stopped by Multnomah Falls on the way.
So pretty!
Merry Christmas everyone!

Two Years, Baby!

Been married to this guy for two years-
I never knew life could be so good :)
Here we are at one year...
And two years...
we look exactly the same.
How boring ;)
Happy Anniversary to us!

Christmas #2

Christmas #2 was in Utah- my home sweet home.
It's such a great feeling to be home.
To be around people who love you no matter what.
That's what I love.
And even though the girls weren't quite out of school yet and Loren had to work a lot- we still managed to have a rockin' time.
First and foremost- we did some relaxing!
Went to Rachel Roni's band concert...
 And Jay's choir concert...

Jon had his most favoritest food in the WORLD-
Papa Murphy's Pizza!!!
They don't have it in Houston :(
We put up the Christmas tree!

We went back to the place where we got married...
Rachel and I played espionage as we tried to catch our "Secret Santa"
Went to a wedding... in the rain...

Please excuse the hugeness of my face...

It was on Saturday... at the exact same time as the BYU bowl game.
I caught this boy with a headphone in his ear...
Hmmm I wonder what he was listening to? ;)
 But congrats Courtney and Mark!
 Some "Risk" playing went down...

And of course- did a little "early Christmas unwrapping"...
 What could it be?
Beanies! Just in time for us to freeze in the northwest.
Jon got a BYU apron, BYU cookbook, and BYU beanie...
he was nearly in tears :)
Merry Christmas!
On to our third Christmas celebration!
