Building a Library...

I love thrift stores.
I love them!
I love how you can buy three books, a dress, shoes, belt, necklace for under $20.
In fact, most of the furniture in our house is from thrift stores...
they just are great places.
(Except the D.I. in Provo... that place has been PICKED over and all that is left is JUNK... kuz JUNK is the only thing that college kids own, which makes it the only thing they donate)
Back to thrift stores...
I've just recently discovered the book section of Goodwill.
It's a joy.
I've been wanting to start a library of my own for a while now.
I just remember a PLETHORA of books back home. Anytime we told mom we were "bored"- we'd either be sentenced to chores, or told to go read a book.
My mom has SOOOOO many books at home- and it's made me want to start a library of MY own-
(so I can banish my kids to reading books, of course)
But books are expensive!
I asked for some books for Christmas, which was a great start-
but then I discovered books at Goodwill!
All books are 99 cents or less....
And here is our collection thus far-
We pick up a couple books every time we go :)
So forget Barnes and Noble, or even Half-Price Books...
I'm goin' to Goodwill!
