It's been nice to return to a normal lifestyle since flying all over the world...
I'm excited that our next plane flight won't be until Christmas!
Time to return to normal life.
Although- normal life in the summer isn't quite "NORMAL" per se...
but that works out fine for us.
We met some new friends here in Vicksburg- and they invited us along to the "Choctaw Indian State Fair"!
The event was supposed to be outside... but was moved inside a casino due to rain...
But we got to see the WORLD champ of hoop dancing-
super fly.
And the main event- was a Josh Turner concert.
It was quite enjoyable (even though Jon has a fiery passionate dislike for country music).
I think Jon enjoyed it, too... he just won't admit it!
We kept getting closer and closer...
until we had front row seats!
We hit up "Cow Appreciation Day" at Chick-Fil-A!
We felt a LITTLE silly because we were the ONLY ones there dressed up...
"Toto- we're not in Provo anymore!"
But you can't beat TWO free meals!
We've been blueberry picking a couple more times!
Sadly- blueberry season is winding down... it was hard to fill up our bucket because the bushes are running low.
We eat blueberries every morning with breakfast-
and manage to come up with delicious blueberry concoctions as well.
Blueberry coffee cake- MMmmmmm.
We went to a Mississippi wedding this past weekend- always fun!
The setting was adorable!
And our little third wheel is adorable as well!
AND one of our latest adventures... was a trip down to Baton Rouge to go to the temple.
I picked up this cute kid Friday from work,
took a three hour drive through a crazy southern storm,
and found ourselves in Baton Rouge!
We used credit card points to book a hotel...
and had fun dining in civilization!
(I guess we were digging the open-mouthed smile that night)
The next morning- we went to the temple.
Definitely a good day.
Mississippi life is nice.
One more month!
