Happy Thanksgiving!

Thursday (conveniently) happened to be our favorite day of the trip.
Happy Thanksgiving!
We woke up to blue skies but an OH so brisk morning.
We took a little walk over to Balloch castle before our boat ride on Loch Lomond.
 Such a beautiful morning!
"On the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond..."
Time for a little boat cruise.
Such beautiful scenery...
Loch Lomond did not disappoint.
Some pretty rockin' houses lined the shores!
Little kids make the best models!
The castle we walked to in the morning, from on the loch.
 Ben Lomond
After Loch Lomond, we drove over to Stirling- home of Stirling Castle and William Wallace.
You know... Braveheart?
"FREEDOM!!!!!!!"
Yeah, him.
I think Stirling Castle was our favorite part of the whole trip.
We took a bazillion pictures- and the lighting and sunset was magnificent.
So... enjoy a plethora of pictures...
What would a Brame trip be without some jumping pictures?
This girl is just too cute.
 Um, hello sun.
You are beautiful!
I spy a Scottish man in a kilt.
A Scottish model doing a photoshoot, in fact.
With red hair.
And a rugged red beard.
He's a legit Scottish man.
Across the valley stood the William Wallace Monument, all lit up by the sun.
Inside the palace we met some Royal characters!
 Including ourselves ;)
This place kills me.
It is SO stinkin' beautiful.
 Inside the Great Hall
 Claiming our rightly spots.
 The sunset was incredible.

Needless to say, Stirling was a magical place.
A definite must see if you're headed to Scotland.
*sigh*
That evening we drove over to Edinburgh.
We grabbed some dinner- and with not much to do that night, we bought tickets for "Catching Fire" at the cutest little theatre.
AND the movie was amazing.
Katniss Everdeen is our hero.
