A Stone Christmas!

Christmas is wonderful.
Enough said.
I can't imagine anything greater than eating pounds of sweets, and spending time with family.
It's da best.

We jetted out Saturday morning over to St. George!
After a quick lil' flight-
 We separated- boys and girls...
Girls went shopping and got pedicures.
Boys ate steak, went shooting, and played Risk.
Sunday was Christmas for us while we were all together!
We had an amazing Christmas dinner, made cake pops, and played lots of games.
We were even able to catch up with some old friends!
We spent quality time with each other...
all on our own electronic gadgets ;)
Ok, ok... we really do know how to talk to each other.
Monday and Tuesday everyone took off...
but we had some extra time to hang out in St. George!
We Cafe Rio'd it up...
Went to the temple...
And sang songs on "real" Christmas Eve at the tabernacle!
I always get kind of depressed once Christmas passes...
but cheers that it comes around each year!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We Love Christmas!

The minute we got back from our Thanksgiving travels,
we decorated our apartment.
Well... just our living room.
All 300 square feet of it.
We don't have too many decos...
Our favorite thing to do these days,
is light our balsam candle to make it smell Christmas-y
(because we unfortunately don't have a real tree),
crank up the Christmas tunes,
sit by the twinkle of the tree,
and sip hot chocolate.
We finished our Christmas shopping in early November, so we haven't had to worry about gifts and WOW!
It's made the season so much simpler!
Why didn't I figure that out sooner?
Every year, I find myself wishing that the Christmas season could last six months instead of one...

Christmas!

We searched for Christmas flights for a LOOOONG time
(as I'm sure many of you can relate)
and found everything to be crazy expensive.
That is...
until we looked at Christmas Eve!
So we bought tickets for Christmas Eve...
in retrospect?
Maybe not the BEST idea!
We were actually able to get there without delay...
But we didn't get in until midnight...
And they ended up losing Jon's carry-on!
YEP his carry-on...
And of course the next day was Christmas and he didn't get his clothes until 5 days later.
BUT other than that-
flying on Christmas Eve was just fine.
And it's always nice to fly with your best buddy.
So here we are!
Christmas morning!
We of course had to eat some food first...
Opening presents with crazy little 9-month old twins is so much fun!
Jon hates being spoiled-
but I didn't care this year.
I think he can get used to being spoiled...
Lots of delicious chocolate in my stocking was much appreciated!
We had to stop presents for a little while to talk to our little missionary in Arizona-
he sounds so good!
AND THEN- luck would have it...
it started to SNOW!!!
Just a little at first...
 and it started to stick...
and then we had to go out and play in it.
Being able to play around with these cute kiddos made Christmas a winner!
Love, love, love Christmas.
