Sing Songs and Rainbows...

So the past few weeks have been full of trips... back and forth to Mississippi and other various points of interest...
One may ask how we keep ourselves entertained and sane for the numerous hours in a car?
This is how...
we committed ourselves to learning this song.
We got thru two verses... :)
After that, our brains were mush!
I suppose these Louisiana rainbows were our reward for working so hard.

Dance Recitals are over!!

I can finally breathe a sigh of relief- dance recitals are over!
The studio has about 950 students... which means 4 different shows of recitals, over 2 weekends.
Pretty intense.
It's pretty stressful for all involved.
BUT they all did great! It did my little heart proud.
These are my babies (this was dress rehearsal... thus the parents on stage)
Love these girls!
Cheerlearders...
AND more cheerleaders...
Only got a pic of my little tappers as they were leaving the stage :(
And my pirates!
Tons of fun- but so glad it's over :)
Now on to summer in Mississippi!!

The Vacuum....

Jon and I finally purchased a vacuum.
We've been married for a year and a half and we haven't had a vacuum.
I'm not sure if that's funny... or just plain gross.
In my defense- we HAVE had a hand-vac! Hahaha
It just didn't pick up stuff QUITE like this does...
That's ALOT of dirt... gross.
Nothing more satisfying than clean carpet, yanno?
Jon loved it :)
Here's three cheers to grime free carpet!
Hip Hip Hooray!

In Mourning...

R.I.P
American Idol
You provided many hours of entertainment this season... please come back next year.

R.I.P

Lost

To the greatest show ever. You've consumed 6 years of my life and provided hundreds of hours of thrill, and thousands of hours theorizing with my friends about your crazy mysteries. You will be missed.

Tuesday nights will never be the same.

Memorial Day!

Hooray for holidays! It's so wonderful when no one has school or work. What a great way to live :)
As ONE more last "hurrah" before we moved back to Mississippi- we had to use our pool ONE last time, and grill with our friends.
