Christmas Vacation Part 2

Family tradition is to decorate gingerbread peoples a day or two before Christmas... It's always a lot of fun with more candy eating than decorating :)

Pajamas on Christmas Eve

What would a Christmas vacation be without Christmas day? Santa came to my parent's house... bearing some rather nice gifts!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Having breakfast before the unwrapping frenzy

We had to claim our spot on the couch...

Day trip up to Provo... Jon hates the snow...

Cafe Rio! We've missed you!

Sleeping on the way back

We had to leave St. George and come back to Houston... but guess who I found there? Megan, Blaine and their cute baby Nolan!

On to ONE more week of vacation- bring it!

One Year Anniversary!

It's true everybody- we made it ONE year... and it was the best anniversary ever. Hahaha kuz I have nothing to compare it to! WELL my parents are budding photographers (they took pics for our wedding) and they always love a chance to use their camera... and Jon and I aren't exactly camera shy either so THIS is what you get when you combine the two!

Yeah my parents are awesome! Not only did they take our pics, but then when we got home- we found this dinner for two waiting for us!

Hoo-rah for being married! Cheers to another awesome year to come!

And P.S... Just a little plug for my parents- if you're in the St. George area, they would love to take your family/wedding pics! They are great and have reasonable prices- check out their blog...

BYU BOWL GAME

It's true. We went. And it was A-MAZ-ING! Albeit was frigidly cold with 50 mph winds wipping us in the face.. it was worth it. Even today with our chapped lips, faces, hands and all- we'd still say it was worth it :)

No football game is a complete without a tailgate party :)
Here is Rachel hogging all the food!

We hid in the car to escape the cold and drew on our faces with blue eyeliner

 Welcome to the main event!

Huge American Flag that threatened to blow away several times!

 It's cold! Brrrrr!

 There they are... our COUGS!

In the end it was a 44-20 win- of which we were very proud.

Christmas Vacation Part 1

Wow- what a week of Christmas vacation it has been! Sleeping in until 10 everyday... having no responsibilities... having a mom to cook for you... why can't Christmas vacation last all year? I'm not opposed to the idea! I'm loving this treatment!

In-N-Out right after arriving at the Las Vegas airport...

My silly husband with barettes in his hair... maybe I should get him a doll for Christmas ;)

Getting my hair done...

Jon helping Roni with homework....

A night at the St. George temple!

Hahaha- palm tree bush with lights on it. It made me smile.

Back to the place where all this madness started a year ago :)

Re-enacting our wedding, wa hoo!

And my crazy little sister convinced Jon and I to run a 5K with her... even though I haven't run in about a month, and it's been FOUR months for Jon!
It was a chilly morning...

And we made it!...barely! :)

Going to church with the fam... my mom bought us all matching red stuff. Ahhh, we're so cute.

And Christmas break lives on! We're having so much fun and it's not even Christmas yet! WA-HOO!
