Wonderful Sisters

My sisters have been here all week with me.

It was been WONDERFUL!

We love having visitors... it's SO fun and gives a good excuse to party 24/7.

So of course we DID party 24/7... duh!

(Some old man informed me afterwards that I was on the wrong side of the cow to be milking it... oops?)

 

Very large sample- oh yeah.

On our way back we discovered a huge outlet mall.

Love, love, love.

These girls know how to shop.

We went down to Galveston!

AND of course rode the ferry...

Where we saw dolphins :)

AND then of course- played at the beach.

The Chocolate Bar... delicious.

 

Chocolate cake, chocolate cookie, chocolate dipped pretzels, chocolate dipped strawberries, and more chocolate... yep we didn't order TOO much...

Don't worry Rachel.

They only eat 16 year old girls.

Oh yes- there is a restaurant that sells fried alligator.

And YES we did get some.

And yes we DID enjoy it ;)

(This is Jon's favorite game. To float like a buoy and see how long he can last. The only problem is that it gives me a heart attack every time I see him like this!)

And we had to take two nervous girls to the airport this morning :(

Memorial Day Weekend

Everyone else seems to be posting about Memorial Day weekend-

so I had to copycat and follow suit!

Our Memorial Day weekend wasn't ALL that relaxing...
but definitely fun.

It was spent in Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas...

and involved a LOT of driving.

Friday- Utah with the fam up at the Heaton Ranch

We went fishing...

Although Rachel is the only one who caught anything :)

Saturday- Packed up our bags and drove 9 hours to Tucson where we had cousins ready to play!

We went swimming...

 This girl makes me laugh :)

 And it's only summer if you have watermelon!

Sunday- We did some playing in the backyard...

 And definitely did some eating-

SOOOOOO good!

We played "Just Dance 2" on the Wii.

Best game ever!

No really- if you haven't tried it then just come over!

I've already bought it for myself :)

 

 

Even little Joshy played with us!

Monday- we had to leave and drive the 15 hours to Houston.

Not only is it 15 hours... but you lose TWO hours driving making it 17 really.

1,200 miles on the I-10... can I get a woot, woot? 

AND we were once again reminded that Texas is way, WAY, WAY too big.

 We almost died in lots of these...

And these cute girls did lots of sleeping in the back...

And now they're here in Houston playing with us!
