Tuesday was spent at Disney's Hollywood Studios...
Jon visited the park when he was 14, and he doesn't remember a WHOLE lot,
(which isn't surprising considering he couldn't even remember my name for 3 years...)
BUT the one thing he DID remember was the "Rockin' Aerosmith Rollercoaster".
Of which he rode 5 times.
It was pretty sweet- not gonna lie.
We saw the 30 minute version of "Beauty and the Beast"...
I may or may not have teared up a bit... so magical.
We found some folk dance friends, Scott and Tesha, and rode "Star Tours" with them...
We even caught the Pixar parade... more magic!
We ate dinner inside the park...
which was the only time we did.
I can't imagine buying three meals in the park, everyday!
We would have gone broke.
ANYWAY- we ate at the 50's Prime Time Cafe which was a riot and a half.
The restaurant is set up like a normal 50's era house and the waiter and waitresses refer to you as their "kids". They get mad at you for elbows on the table or not minding your manners. You MUST eat all your vegetables and we even had to do our chores and set our own table.
Oh, and the waiter kept referring to Jon as "Scooter".
Hil.ar.i.ous.
We watched "Fantasmic" that night...
(super cool laser, light, water show)
Disney doesn't do things half way- it was amazing.
And we ended the evening at the "City of Lights"... they have this fake city set up and completely decked out in Christmas lights. Christmas music plays while the lights keep time with the music. And there is fake snow falling to boot.
Again- Disney thinks of everything.
Magical.
