Four Years, What?!

Four years of marriage?
Wow!
Where has the time gone?
Well- anyway...
the time HAS gone and its been a lovely 4 years of marriage.
Still love this Jon kid.

This anniversary went so smoothly.
If anything DIDN'T go as planned- it's because it went BETTER than planned.
Without even trying.
It was great.

We stole away to Spokane on the morning of the 27th...
Jon's brother got us hooked on this specific Mongolian Grill restaurant called "Hu Hot" and we found one in Spokane for lunch.
It is seriously delish.
Traditional gift for year FOUR of marriage is fruit...
my mom got us an edible arrangement,
And Jot got me an apple...
a very lovely white apple!
He's pretty much the best ever!
While they were adding more memory to the computer- we ran across the street to the park and rode a cable car down over Spokane Falls!
Cable car isn't my preferred method of travel...
(a little too wobbly for my taste)
but it was an amazing view!
 Feeling rather nervous...
We booked a hotel through Priceline...
and you usually get treated like a cheap-o by the front desk...
but they upgraded our room to a river view!
And THEN they gave us a FREE appetizer and FREE shuttle over to a restaurant right on the river.
Things kept going better than planned.
Waiting for our shuttle...
Anthony's Restaurant
Free appetizer- Coconut Prawns
AND the restaurant had a spectacular view of the Falls.
It was perfect, and so low stress.
Bring on year FIVE baby!

Christmas!

We searched for Christmas flights for a LOOOONG time
(as I'm sure many of you can relate)
and found everything to be crazy expensive.
That is...
until we looked at Christmas Eve!
So we bought tickets for Christmas Eve...
in retrospect?
Maybe not the BEST idea!
We were actually able to get there without delay...
But we didn't get in until midnight...
And they ended up losing Jon's carry-on!
YEP his carry-on...
And of course the next day was Christmas and he didn't get his clothes until 5 days later.
BUT other than that-
flying on Christmas Eve was just fine.
And it's always nice to fly with your best buddy.
So here we are!
Christmas morning!
We of course had to eat some food first...
Opening presents with crazy little 9-month old twins is so much fun!
Jon hates being spoiled-
but I didn't care this year.
I think he can get used to being spoiled...
Lots of delicious chocolate in my stocking was much appreciated!
We had to stop presents for a little while to talk to our little missionary in Arizona-
he sounds so good!
AND THEN- luck would have it...
it started to SNOW!!!
Just a little at first...
 and it started to stick...
and then we had to go out and play in it.
Being able to play around with these cute kiddos made Christmas a winner!
Love, love, love Christmas.

Pre-Christmas Festivities

We tried to celebrate Christmas...
but nothing really happened until school got out on the 21st.
Then we partied.

Clogging Christmas Party-
Jon won the Chick-Fil-A calendar and was the happiest person there.

Outdoor Christmas movie
Busy Saturday morning around the house...
when all goes quiet...
and I find Jon here.
Football.
'Tis the season.
Making gingerbread houses!
Well- the word "gingerbread" is used loosely...
we made graham cracker houses :)
We had to keep the "Stone" family tradition alive,
and we sucked Heidi and Seth Larsen into it as well!

On to Christmas!
