Alright... are you ready for this? These next two posts are called "Trying to see ALL of DC in two days"... Everyone kind of laughed at us when we told them our plans for the day... I guess we were a little TOO ambitious? Oh well!
Sister Goodsell dropped us off at the Metro stop... and we were on our way!
First stop- Smithsonian Castle
On to the Air and Space Museum
Into the cockpit!
Jon could have stayed here all day... too bad he has an ADD wife who can't stand to be in one place for too long
The space side of the museum...
Then we headed outside for our homemade lunch (thanks to Sister Goodsell- she was SO kind to us!) and walked over to the Capitol...
Behind the Capitol into the Library of Congress... it was beautiful!
At this point- our calves were burning. SOO we decided to make our thighs burn instead and hopped on a paddle boat!
Stefan and Vanessa joined us...
And so did my friend, Tanaya!
Air Force One kept flying over our heads...
We paddled for an hour- and it was lovely!
Afterward... we had to get back on our feet :(
But not for long! We went home with Tanaya, and she and Tim fed us dinner!
Michelle, Brian and Gabbi came over too!

And thus ends our day. We didn't get to see everything we wanted... so bring on tomorrow!
Ahh...it's fun to see you three together again! Who thought it would end up being on the other side of the country! Glad you had such a fun trip! =)
